Midway Auto
Supply
has over
40 years of experience under its belt in serving the
automotive aftermarket. The company opened its doors for
business in June 1960 in Dallas, Texas. The goal of
Midway Auto Supply's founder, the late Henry B.
Levine, was to provide a convenient source of automotive
aftermarket products for the do-it-yourselfer and local auto
mechanics and installers. Now, as times have changed and
continue to change, we service a much broader market,
including international consumers, as well as, many government
agencies and municipalities. We have three retail outlets that
have withstood many tests in the ever-changing retail markets.
Midway Auto Supply
Midway Auto Supply
is still family-owned and operated by the second and third
generations of the Levine family, including the founders two
sons, and three of his grandchildren. While many of our
competitors have disappeared over the years, we have not only
maintained, but have seen remarkable growth. Our enduring
success in the marketplace is due in great part to the
efficiency of our skilled and knowledgeable staff, who strive
to provide superior service to every customer. Midway Auto Supply
Midway Auto Supply
has maintained a presence on the internet since 1996. We are
continually enhancing and building our e-commerce website in
order to better service customers throughout the United States
as well as abroad.
That’s why Midway Auto Supply offers today’s shade tree
mechanic the same technology that the professionals use for
trouble shooting car problems: The Equus OBD II Code Reader.
All vehicles made after 1996 are equipped with OBD II (second
generation On-Board Diagnostics). This system monitors and
detects problems in the car’s fuel injection, ignition,
catalyst and EGR.
When a problem is detected in any of these systems, the
computer turns on that “check engine” light in your dash. Your
car’s computer then sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code that
identifies the system or circuit with the problem. The Equus
OBD II Code Reader simplifies troubleshooting car problems by
accessing your car’s computer and reading that diagnostic
code.
